Instructions For Authors

Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers addressing the themes of FET’26. Submissions must not have been published or concurrently submitted elsewhere. Each paper should identify the corresponding author, include an abstract (150–250 words) written in one paragraph, and list up to six keywords.

Submission Guidelines

  • Submission System: All papers must be submitted via the EDAS FET’26 submission portal https://edas.info/N34437
  • Paper Length: Minimum 4 pages – Maximum 6 pages (including figures, tables, and references). Papers exceeding 8 pages will not be accepted.
  • Format: Use the official IEEE Conference Templates (for Word and LaTeX). Download templates from the IEEE Conference Publishing website.
  • Review Process: Each paper will be double-blind reviewed by at least three qualified reviewers.
  • Evaluation Criteria: Technical significance, quality, clarity of presentation, relevance, and originality.
Publication and Indexing

Accepted papers within the scope of IEEE will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore . Selected papers presented at the conference will be invited to submit extended versions of their manuscripts for consideration in UoB journals.

Ethical and Quality Requirements
  • All submissions will undergo a similarity check.
  • Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and double submission are strictly prohibited.
  • Excessive self-citations are not allowed.
  • Papers violating ethical standards or exceeding similarity limits will be rejected without review.
  • Non-compliance with FET’26 policies may lead to removal from IEEE Xplore®.
Registration and Presentation Policy

To ensure inclusion in the proceedings and IEEE Xplore®:

    1. Author Registration: At least one author of each accepted paper must register at the full author rate (IEEE member or non-member).
    2. Presentation Requirement: Each accepted paper must be presented by an author or co-author at the conference.

Failure to present will result in removal from the IEEE Xplore® indexing.

Copyright Submission

Authors can record copyright as follows:

Login to your EDAS page, click on the + sign at the right of the Copyright form, then click on IEEE Copyright Submission (red circles), and complete by answering a few questions.

Creating Your PDF eXpress Account (Only for Finally Accepted Papers)

Log in to the PDF eXpress site (Click here).

First-time users should do the following:

  • Select the ‘New Users – Click Here’ link.
  • Enter the following:
    • Conference ID
    • Your email address
    • A password
  • Continue to enter information as prompted.
  • An online confirmation and an email verification will be sent once the account is created.
  • Previous users of PDF eXpress should follow the same steps using their existing password and verify that contact information is valid.

Access the IEEE Publications Support Center for PDF eXpress.

If you do not find an answer in the ‘Find Answers’ tab, go to the ‘Ask A Question’ tab.
